Am vergangenen Donnerstag zeigte die in Kasachtan geborene Designerin wieder ihre elfenhaften Entwürfe. Da ich an diesem Tag, brav im Büro am werkeln war, konnte ich die Show nur via Livestream mitverfolgen. Für ihre Frühling/Sommerkollektion reiste Lana Mueller nach Äthiopien, welches als Land voller Gegensätze gilt und mittlerweile zu den aufstrebenden Metropolen der Welt zählt.
Die Schwester von Lana arbeitet hier schon seit über 15 Jahren als Entwicklungshelferin, deswegen war es an der Zeit, dass sie selbst auch vorbeischaute. Der Titel der diesjährigen Kollektion trägt dan Namen Windrose und wird von zauberhaft eleganten Chiffonblusen und romantischen Kleidern umspielt. Bei den bunten Webstoffen arbeitete Mueller zusammen mit Athiopiener die ihre Entwürfe an traditioniellen Webstühlen fertigten. Die Farbnuance bleibt dabei aber stets leicht und verläuft in aufregenden Pastellfarben wie Nude, Rosa und Grau. Highlight der Kollektion bildet für mich ein graues Chiffonkleid, dass mit einem Apricot farbenden Taillengürtel perfekt gestylt wurde. Ich bin gespannt mit welchen romantischen Entwürfen uns die Designerin in der kommenden Saison überraschen wird.
